- Sources Sought Synopsis: This RFI is for market research purposes only. Responses to this Request for Information (RFI) are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Respondents should not submit any proprietary information when responding to this RFI. Respondents should also note that the Government will not return any information submitted in response to this RFI. The Government is not responsible for any costs incurred by respondents regarding any responses to this RFI. Respondents must submit capability statements that clearly define the firm's ability to provide the items stated in this RFI. The requirement is for a subject matter expert on Domestic Violence to provide a training presentation on the subject in a manner than relates to military families. The contractor shall furnish the training, which shall be fully rehearsed. After the training is complete, the contractor shall provide a question and answer session. After seeing the training presentation the audience is to be able to recognize domestic violence when they see it, know how to respond to what they have recognized, and know where to find resources for assistance. The contractor will agree to provide three sessions at Ft Leavenworth, KS for the following trainings presentations: 11 August 2014 at 1900 and two trainings on 12 August 2014 at 0900 and 1300, at the Eisenhower Auditorium located at Lewis and Clark Building, Command and General Staff College, 100 Stimson Ave, Fort Leavenworth, KS. THIS RFI IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. It is a market research tool (FAR Part 10) being used to determine potential large and small business firms capable of providing the services described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Proposal. The NAICS contemplated for this requirement is 611430 with a size standard of $10.0M. The Contract Type is anticipated to be Firm Fixed Price. SUBMITTAL INFORMATION: Please provide a capability statement addressing your organizations ability to provide the items required above. Include only general capabilities relative to the requirement, such as a sample presentation and/or interview history/past presentations, as this is not a solicitation and no responses will be considered as proposals.
