Description

The VAMC located at 1540 Spring Valley Drive, Huntington WV, 25704 has a requirement to replace flooring in (2) locations: 2B185 (nuclear medicine treatment room) and laundry plant (washer side). The laundry plant flooring has been damaged over several years due to water and related treatment chemicals being spilled out over the floor area. As such, the flooring needs to be replaced. In 2B185, there is a new machine that has been purchased to replace the existing. When the existing machine is replaced, there will be multiple holes and other damage to the floor requiring its replacement prior to installation of the new machine. Vendor will provide all parts, labor, equipment, material, and supervision to adequately replace flooring in both areas. NAICS Code 236220 is applicable to this requirement. The Small Business size standard is $33.5 million. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding. The contract type will be Firm-Fixed Price. This solicitation will be a 100% Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. To be eligible for award, at the time which offers are due and delivered to the Contracting Officer, the bidder must be listed and viewable in the Vendor Information Pages in the VetBiz registry at www.vip.vetbiz.gov. The Vendor Information Pages will be checked at the time of receipt of all offers, as well as prior to award. In addition, bidders are further advised that compliance with VAAR 852.219-10 shall be enforced and monitored to ensure that the minimum self-performance requirements are being met by the SDVOSB contractor. The successful bidder must also be able to demonstrate how their firms intend to satisfy the self-performance requirements. Should the successful bidder be unable to do so, the contracting officer will deem such bidder as non-responsive and an award will be made to the next bidder whose bid is determined to be the next Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. The estimate construction cost range is: $25,000 - $100,000 The solicitation will be available for download on or before June 11, 2014.
