Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 11, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with The University of Michigan, Institute for Social Research - Survey Research Center, 426 Thompson St., Ann Arbor, MI 48106 for Training in Survey Research Methodology at the Research Facility at the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System. NAICS 611430 applies. The Contractor shall provide materials, labor, supervision and services necessary to provide Training in Survey Research Methodology for the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare Systems, Research Service, 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105, for the period from July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015 with two (2) one (1) year options. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 3:00 pm on June 13, 2014. No telephone or email inquiries will be accepted. All responses must be mailed to VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, Attn: Thomas Auten (54C), 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105.
