- The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) is soliciting offers to procure for Execavator Crawler repair and maintenance services for the DOI, BIA, Navajo Regional Office, Department of Transportation, Force Account Section in Farmington, New Mexico. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. A14PS00566, herein cited is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and will be procured under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-72. This acquisition is for a Native American Owned Small Business Set-Aside under the Buy Indian Act (25 U.S.C). The NAICS Code is 811310, Size standards $7.0. Scope of Work: Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals required to provide a complete service and repair of BIA equipment number 2006 JD Excavator Crawler, Product ID#: FF240DX605355, Engine Serial #: PE6068L002030. Cab assembly replacement, strip cab, reuse all hydraulic components, replace all electrical components from original cab, install new cab shell, replace seat assembly. Replace pilot shut off valve handle and left pilot controller handle. Reassemble new cab and install. Heavy equipment parts will be delivered to the facilities for repair and will be returned to the BIA Shop by the vendor. Request for vendor to be within 250 mile radius from BIA, Division of Transportation, Force Account Section, Block 6 Shop, Farmington, NM.
