- FOR ALL INFORMATION CONTACT: Christopher Bachmann, Mechanical Engineer, (443) 395-6146. This is a market survey to locate additional sources for spare parts for the AN/TSC-93E Tactical Satellite Communications System. The AN/TSC-93E operates in the Super High Frequency band and provides reliable multi-channel capacity and anti-jam capability to form critical communication links between deployed units. Three distinct LRUs are considered for repair under the proposed action: one modem and two frequency converters. The following spare parts to be procured are: NSNItem Name/Common NamePart # 5895-01-584-5545Modem, Communications (RFMOW Modem)SLM-5650A/0W-8 5895-01-575-0794Converter, Frequency (Up Converter)MBT-5003-XUR 5895-01-575-0774Converter, Frequency (Down Converter)MBT-5003-XDR The current source of the AN/TSC-93 E is Comtech EF Data, including the associated spare parts. The spare parts identified above are only defined by Comtech EF Data part numbers and National Stock Numbers. Detailed technical data such as engineering drawings, specifications, and test procedures for the manufacture or acceptance of these items are NOT AVAILABLE from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing these items must so indicate in writing to: Commander, U.S. PEO C3T, ATTN: RDER-PRC-CM (Christopher Bachmann), Building 6010, Frankford St, APG, MD 21005-1848. Response via electronic media using Microsoft Office products (i.e., Microsoft Word and Excel), and Adobe Acrobat (Portable Document Format) is acceptable and preferable. The response MUST include documentation such as test results, test procedures for these items, and copy of purchasing order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source (or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with a unit that will be physically and functionally interchangeable and interoperable with the existing AN/TSC-93E and existing components/spares for the Tactical Satellite Communications Systems). Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the items supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army and that it will be delivered on time. Suppliers capable of furnishing portion of these items are considered acceptable. Technical questions shall be sent to the above address or through email to Christopher.bachmann.civ@mail.mil.
