Description
Complete remediation of the site to include removal of pumps, piping, and associated concrete (32'x 20'6 quote mark ), backfill of tank holes with appropriate material, compaction (each foot of fill material must be compacted to reduce settling), disposal of all waste materials to include tank sludge, fuel, impacted soil around the tanks and pumps. All waste materials must be disposed of in accordance with Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) approved procedures and at approved facilities. The asphalt edge adjacent to the removed concrete shall be saw cut in order to create a linear smooth edge and remove any damaged asphalt that occurred during tank and concrete removal. An additional 16' x 21' section of asphalt 8 inches deep is required to be excavated immediately downhill to the existing concrete. Contractor shall install an expansion joint along the entire edge of asphalt and shall install a minimum of 2 inches of gravel as a base to pour concrete. Contractor shall pour a concrete pad to consist of 8 quote mark of 4000 psi concrete approximately 21' x 48' with inch rebar on 16 inch centers. The new concrete pad shall be flush with the existing asphalt, edged, finished with a light broom, saw cut, and sealed. All work areas must be cleaned and swept to leave them free of debris when complete.
