- The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity, (USAMRAA) in support of U. S. Army Medical Materiel Agency, (USAMMA) intends to negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i) with STRATASYS, 5 Fortune Drive, Billerica, MA 01821, for the procurement of a 3D Printer Bundle and Resin, Consumables and Accessories. The end user has a requirement for 3D Printer Bundle and Resin, Consumables and Accessories capable of handling a wide variety of printing needs. The system must utilize a print head to selectively deposit and cure cross sections of a digital model by accurately printing each cross section on the surface of a build plate/tray using a photosensitive polymer. The system must also have a precision Z-Stage system to reposition the build platform in very small increments as low as 16 microns such that one thin layer can be reliably printed and cured directly onto a previously cured layer beneath it. Digital Materials enable closely resembling the target product design and printing of a complete product, of virtually any complexity, in a single build process. The quantity of 100 digital and 20 base materials is specific to the Objet Connex, as well as the ability to print different model materials in a single build. In addition to the 20 base materials, provide a range of more than 120 materials, including 100 Digital Materials created as the model is printed. Tray of parts printed with different model materials in a single build; saves time on materials replacement and provides an answer for multiple users. Part and assembly versatility, system productivity. The system must be highly automated and capable of unattended operation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 333249 and the size standard of 500. This announcement constitutes the only notice by the government; a written solicitation will not be issued. Interested persons may identify their interest by submitting a capability statement, proposal, or quotation to the point of contact listed below. This Special Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. If no written responses are received by the date listed below, which reflects fifteen (10) days after the publication of this notice, the purchase will be awarded without further remarks.
