Description
Bay 3 SOW 1. The contractor shall supply all materials, labor, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to complete the following 1.1 Replace the existing twelve (12) each tailpipe nozzles with Monoxivent model #4300 stainless steel source capture nozzles that include a spring hinged damper and handle. The damper will shut off the airflow of the hose reels when not being used. 1.2 Remove the existing quick disconnects from the 6inch diameter flex hose. This will eliminate the unexpected separation of the upper and lower hoses. 1.3 Replace the existing high temperature hoses including the 6-inch diameter upper hoses and the 5 and 4 inch diameter hoses that attach to the tailpipes. 1.4 Remove the existing auto damper from the discharge side of the hose reels. This will eliminate the chance of the dampers not opening completely when not enough hose is lowered off the hose reel. 1.5 Install additional U-bolt hose guides to the hose reel drums that allow the upper flex hose to wind on the drum so every loop winds next to the adjacent loop. This eliminate damage to the hose from looping on top of the adjacent loop. 1.6 Adjust the up/down limit switches on the hose reel motors so the hose will stop in the up and down positions before any damage to the hose and nozzles can occur. 1.7 Install one additional Plymovent model TEV-768-60, 15hp, 460V 3 phase direct drive exhaust fan includes a square to round discharge transition. This fan will ventilate diesel exhaust from three hose reels that service the tractor/trailers. 1.8 Install one each Plymovent Model OS-3, UL listed Electrical Control Panel including fan motor starter, fuses, timer and transformer for the wireless receiver. 1.9 Install interconnecting ductwork from the existing hose reels to the new fan. This duct system will be spiral type trunk / branch ducts, sweep elbows, welded, tapered 45-degree branch take-offs, heavy duty hangers and wall trims where required to cover wall penetrations.
