Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Request for Quotes (RFQ) is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation reference #N61340-14-T-0065, incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-73, dated 29 Apr 2014. No set-aside is applicable as the Government expects to award a sole source award to Tek Panel, Incorporated. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 334118 (Computer Manufacturing) with a size standard of 1000 employees. This procurement will be awarded using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) outlined in FAR Part 13. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price purchase order. Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) in Orlando, Florida intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, a purchase order to buy two (2) 56 ť Touch Screen Tek Panel UHR 560T for the Multiple Trainer Simulator Environment Device 19G4A DDG-51 Class Machinery Control System Desktop Simulator to be installed in San Diego, CA. using FAR Part 13 SAP. This synopsis/solicitation is not a request for competitive quotes. It is a notice that outlines the Government ™s intent to contract on a sole source basis, with Tek Panel. However, if a vendor is able to provide the exact same items identified, it can submit a quote for evaluation. The evaluation of other quotes, if received, will be based on technical acceptability, including delivery terms and price.
