Funds are currently not available and are not expected to become available until Spring 2015. The 56 th Fighter Wing, Luke AFB, Arizona will once again be hosting the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Exercise Forging Sabre 2015 planned for the November/December time frame 2015. During the Concept Development Conference held 28-30 April 2014, the SAF identified the need for one (1) pre-engineered temporary hangar facility to support planned deployment operations for four (4) Heron 1 Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) to be operated within the military operation area of the Barry M. Goldwater Range, Arizona. The preferred option is to temporarily lease a pre-engineered hangar type structure of sufficient size to house the units (2x2 configuration) in one facility, inclusive of all related costs, e.g. delivery, erection and removal at the completion of the exercise. Interior lighting is desirable. The temporary hangar shall be of a pre-engineered type, tension fabric structure engineered to withstand sustained winds up to 120 mph, and capable of being anchored/secured to earth, asphalt or concrete depending upon final site location. Hangar structure to have drawn end closures capable of being raised and lowered. Heron Dimensions: Overall Length: 8.5m; Wing Span: 16.6m; Overall Height: 8m. Additionally, four (4) vehicle enclosures have been requested to house Remotely Controlled Vehicle (RCV) Targets comprised of one 4X4 vehicle and one target sled pulled in tandem. The vehicle enclosures shall be of sufficient size to park two (2) RCVs side-by-side. Overall Approximate Dimensions: 40ft long; 20 ft wide; and 16ft high opening to permit adequate clearance for the vehicle antenna. Vehicle structures to have drawn end enclosures capable of being raised and lowered. The RCVs are operated by a line-of-sight manned controller on prescribed routed. Refer to the accompanying RCV photos and typical range layout. Absent a temporary lease arrangement, option two would be an outright purchase, again inclusive of delivery, erection and dis-assembly for subsequent storage upon exercise completion. Period of Performance: Delivery and Set-up on or before 15 Nov 14 through 16 Dec 16. Prospective offerors responding to this informational request should provide: i. company prospectus; ii. similar structure details (i.e. specification data, technical literature, drawings, materials, ISO certification, etc.); iii. pricing data; iv. relevant past performance history/referenced; and v. whether company holds a current General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule contract for items offered.
