- Solicitation This solicitation is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/. It is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet. Please feel free to use the FBO site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division, intends to enter into a Firm Fixed Price contract IAW FAR 13 Simplified Acquistion Procedures. Synopsis exception FAR5.202(a)(13) applises and solicitation N00164-14-T-0159 is hereby issued as an attachment hereto. Size Standard for NAICS 811219 is $19.0M. SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT: The proposed contract actions is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Electro Scientific Industries, Inc. (ESI), 13900 NW Science Park Drive, Portland, OR 97229-5497 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(c). This is being sole source because ESI is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the equipment being serviced and repaired. All responible sources may submit a capability statement proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The requirements is as follows: Labor and fees associated with the repair of the ESI Laser Microvia including: Travel Support Travel Service Fee Service Labor Power Supply Maintenance Upcollimator Hi-resolution Lens Scan Laser Power Control Assembly Inspection, Acceptance, and all work will be at destination, NSWC Crane, IN 47522-5001. Please reference schedule in the RFQ. Quoters, prior to submitting quote, carefully review ALL sections and fill in all blanks (where applicable). To be eligible for award of a government contract, contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Managemend (SAM). This site can be accessed at https://www.sam.gov. All changes to this requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to FedBizops. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor FBO for amendments that may be issued. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussion and/or award. Quotes must be submitted in the format specified in the solicitation. It is the responsibility of the offeror to submit offer to the POC at NSWC Crane.
