Description
PEB measurements of the proposed shelving system A list of basic requirements Photo 3 showing where the proposed shelving system will be installed and which also reference the fire suppression system Photo 2 showing where the proposed shelving system will be installed and which also reference the fire suppression system Photo 1 showing where the proposed shelving system will be installed and which also reference the fire suppression system This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside, NAICS 33299. A site visit is optional and is dependent on interest. A site visit is tentatively scheduled for 10 AM local (Alaska Time) on Friday, June 6. All interested parties must email the contracting office not later 1159 AM local (Alaska Time) on Wednesday, June 4, a list of the full names of interested personnel. Any names provided after this time cannot be guaranteed to be make the site visit due to installation security requirements. 0001 - Provide and Install 1 each Pallet Rack with Ball Transfer Decking System Basic requirements for 212 RQS shelving is as follows: -Must conform to the definition of Open Rack in NFPA 13, 3.9.3.7.7, to preclude modification of fire suppression system in accordance with Chapter 16. -Minimum 2500 lbs. load capacity per shelf/span -Minimum 8' deep -Must have roller ball decking to facilitate multi-directional movement of alert gear -Each shelving unit must fit between joists as outlined in the attached PEB measurements document -Must meet AK seismic code -Must include installation -Must include shipping to installation site -Must include Civil Engineer and Fire Inspector approval/walk through before plans are finalized 0002 - 1 each: Shipping to JBER, AK 99506 Please include shipping directly to JBER, AK 99506. Firms that believe that they can provide similar required items must provide supporting evidence to the Contracting Officer. This announcement constitutes the only written notice. Basis for award will be the best value to the Government. In accordance with FAR 52.212-2, the Government will award a contract/purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following evaluation factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Technical (item specifications) and Price. The following provisions are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.204-7 Central Contractor Registration, FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal, FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-3 Alt I Offeror Representations and Certificates-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders-Commercial Items. To be eligible for contract award, all contractors must be registered with the System for Award management (SAM) found at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Payments for the resulting contract will be made through Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF). Contractors can register for WAWF at https://wawf.eb.mil/
