Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit for the distribution and supply of medical-grade liquid bulk oxygen to be supplied with contractor owned storage tanks to be provided to the following three locations for the VA Boston Healthcare System Medical Service: Brockton Division at 940 Belmont St., Brockton, MA 02301-5596; Jamaica Plain Division, 150 S. Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130-4817 and the West Roxbury Division, 1400 VFW Parkway, West Roxbury, MA 02132-4927. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, installation, maintenance and back-up storage for the medical-grade bulk liquid oxygen to be supplied with contractor-owned tanks. The applicable NAICS code is 325120. The FSC/PSC is 6830. The government intends to award a contract resulting from the solicitation to the responsive offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors will be used to evaluate the offers: technical, past performance and price. The solicitation will include the date/time for site visits which contractors are highly encouraged to attend. The government anticipates award of a Firm-Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for a nine (9) month base plus four (4) potential 12 month option periods. The solicitation will be issued unrestricted and will be available for download from FedBizOpps on or about 6/2/2014. Copies of the solicitation will not be available for mailing. All prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of the contract. Registration may be accomplished at www.sam.gov.
