FMCSA, Laredo, TX, Cisco Telecommunication Equipment Brand Name Justification FMCSA, Laredo, TX, Cisco Telecommunication Equipment The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), headquartered in Washington, DC, is a highway safety component of the US Department of Transportation. Its key mission is to reduce the number of deaths due to highway accidents caused by commercial motor vehicles (CMV's.) Accurate, reliable information is necessary for the successful achievement of the Agency's mission. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation number GS-07P-14-JU-P-0043 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation that quotations are being requested. The requirements will be fulfilled using Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and the Simplified Acquisition procedures, Part 13 of the FAR. This is a total small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classifications System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 423690, Other Electronic Parts and Equipment Merchant Wholesalers. The small business standard is 100 employees. Quotations are due no later than 4:00 PM (CST), Friday June 6, 2014. All questions or concerns regarding this RFQ must be sent in writing via e-mail to Racarol Height at racarol.height@gsa.gov by no later than June 3, 2014.
