Description

This is an approved redacted Justification for an Exception to Fair Opportunity. Order Number: GSQ0514BM0085 GSA Task Order Id: ID05140028 Award This posting is in accordance with FAR 16.505(b)(2)(ii)(D). THIS IS TO POST A JUSTIFICATION FOR AN EXCEPTION TO FAIR OPPORTUNITY. Heartland Technology Group (HTG) was awarded a bridge task order under the 8(a) STARS II Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). The task order was awarded on May 28, 2014. The bridge task order will provide Information Technology Support Services to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), National Information Technology Center (NITC) for up to 8 ¾ months. The bridge task order will provide the Government the required time to fully develop, review, solicit and award the large follow-on competitive task order under a GSA GWAC. The total ceiling value of the bridge task order will not exceed $12.5 million. The contracting activity is the General Services Administration, Federal Acquisition Service, Assisted Acquisition Services located at 1710 Corporate Crossing, Suite 3, O'Fallon, IL 62269. A Justification for an Exception to Fair Opportunity was signed at the GSA Competition Advocate level. A redacted version of the Justification is included with this posting. The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) exemption being cited is 5 U.S.C. § 552(b)(3).
