- Project will be to remove and replace approximately 12,700 square feet of roofing material and approximately 9,000 square feet of plywood roof sheathing on the BLM Campbell Creek Science Center Building. The existing roof assembly consists of asphalt shingles over 15# felt paper over 3/4' plywood roof sheathing. Project is to remove all rafter batt insulation, drill new holes in existing framing to provide more cross ventilation, install new closed-cell spray foam insulation to a minimum or R-60 over the entire roof, provide new 3/4' plywood sheathing, provide new flashing at all roof deck penetrations, provide new self-adhered membrane over the entire roof surface, and install new asphalt shingles. Estimated Price Range: $250,000 - $500,000 Location: Campbell Creek Science Center, Anchorage, AK Tenative date RFP will be issued: May 20, 2014 Tenative Proposal due date: June 18, 2014 Tenative Period of Performance: June 30, 2014 - October 13, 2014. The award of this contract will be restricted to 8(a) Small Businesses.
