- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE REPRESENTING A MARKET SURVEY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS OR INVITATION FOR BIDS. The Department of Veterans Affairs (NCO 08), Tampa FL. is conducting a MARKET RESEARCH to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB),small business sources; HUB Zone 8(a), Women-Owned, or small disadvantaged business concerns; and their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 339113. An organization that is not considered a small business under the applicable NAICS code should not submit a response to this notice. This "Sources Sought Notice" is to determine sources for Stryker 2 Ultra Rover Waste Management. The responses to this announcement will assist in determining the socio-economic set aside if feasible. The Veterans Administration is required by Public Law 109-461 to provide first priority to SDVOSB and then VOSB concerns if sufficient firms available to compete under a set aside SDVOSB, the solicitation will be set aside to SDVOSB. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Interested parties submitting a response to this inquiry must include the following information: name and address of company; business size (large or small) identifies applicable socioeconomic categories and any pertinent information, which demonstrates firm's ability to meet the requirement.
