Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. SYNOPSIS: The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 6 Network Contracting Office, on the behalf of the Asheville VA Medical Center has a need for deSoutter OrthoDrive Large Bone Battery Power (Dual Trigger) power tools and components. This is a brand name or equal requirement. This procurement is for new equipment only; no remanufactured or "gray market" items. All items must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. SOLICITATION: See attached solicitation VA246-14-Q-0682. This solicitation is a total small business set-aside. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, any shipping charges, projected delivery date, company name and point of contract, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number and DUNS number. Vendor must be registered in SAM (System for Award Management). Lack of registration in the SAM database will make an offeror ineligible. To register, vendors may go to https://www.sam.gov via the internet. The Government shall consider quotes from small businesses received by 2:00 PM Eastern Time, June 3, 2014.
