Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Michael E. Debakey VAMC VISN 16, is seeking to procure a radiofrequency generator, which support DREZ, Cordotomy, Thalamotomy, and Trigeminal Neuralgia electrodes in the Neurosurgery Department. Any interested firm that can provide this, or an equal item, is encouraged to respond to this notice. The end users have submitted a justification that states the electrodes must work with the radiofrequency generator. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334510 with a size standard of 500 employees applies to this solicitation. The Government intends to issue a firm fixed price contract. Offers' shall submit quotes on Solicitation VA256-14-Q-0767, which accompanies this notice. The provision 52.211-6, brand name or equal, applies to this request. Any interested firm that can provide information on an equivalent item is encouraged to respond to this notice. Interested firms that can provide equivalent items must provide specifications of the equal items with their response to be considered. Interested firms must respond to the vernester.ingram@va.gov by close of business 6-17-2014 at 4:30 p.m. (Central Time)
