- This is not a request for proposals. This is strictly a synopsis to inform industry about an upcoming requirement and seek potentially interested, available and/or qualified vendors. The Government will not respond to any inquiries received prior to the issuance of the solicitation and no offers will be accepted based on this pre-solicitation notice. All potential offerors will have an opportunity to submit questions once the solicitation for this requirement has been issued. However, in the interim, please feel free to add your company's information to the Interested Vendors List. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Pacific, Okinawa District, has a requirement for the following maintenance and support services: 1) Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Maintenance; 2) Facility Maintenance; 3) Sports Field Maintenance; and 4) Project Repairs at offices and schools on Kadena Air Base, Camps Foster, Butler, Lester, Kinser and McTureous base installations that comprise the Okinawa District. A Request for Proposal (RFP) including the Performance Work Statement (PWS) is anticipated to be released on or about July 1, 2014. The period of performance shall be a base period of one (1) year plus four 1 year options thereafter, with an anticipated start date of 01 January 2015 - 31 December 2015 (base period with four 12-month option periods). Interested and potential offerors should register in the System for Award Management (SAM), formerly known as CCR (Central Contractor Registry).
