- Description
- The Food and Drug Administration, Jefferson Laboratories Complex, National Center for Toxicological Research, Jefferson, AR requires the replacement of existing water tube boiler #3 with a new fire tube boiler. The work also includes removal of the existing water tube boiler, asbestos abatement of the existing water tube boiler, structural steel, roofing repairs and electrical upgrades. This is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns set aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220 and the Small Business Size Standard is $14.0 Million. The period of performance is 365 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed price. The anticipated release date for the Request for Proposal (RFP) is on or about June 10, 2014, which will include the specifications and drawings. Pre-Proposal/Site Visit will be held on or about June 17, 2014 at the National Center for Toxicological Research. These dates are subject to change. All responsible SDVOSB sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The RFP, all amendments, and related future information will be distributed solely through Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website: https://www.fbo.gov. It is the offerors' responsibility to monitor the FBO website for release of this acquisition and any associated amendments. No bidder's list will be maintained.
