Description

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Pearl Harbor contracting office intends to award a commercial,firm fixed priced purchase order on a sole source basis to Pacific Wireless Communications to provide trouble call and preventative maintenance services of the Bi-Directional Communication System located at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard (PHNSY) utilizing FAR part 12 and 13. The required period of performance is from 1 June 2014 to 31 May 2015 with three option years. Per FAR 13.106-1, the contracting officer has determined that only one source is reasonable available to provide the required services. A Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached to this notice for a fully detailed explanation of the requirement. At this time, Pacific Wireless Communications is the only identified source capable of providing the requirement. A Sole Source Justification is attached. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 811213 with the size standard of $10 million. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit technical capabilities, which, may be considered by 28 May 2014 noon HST. All responses must be submitted to the Government point of contact at the email address shown below. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
