- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed price contract for supplying Emergency Repairs to the U.S. Army Landing Craft Utility (LCU) 2035, Stationed (Located) at Naha Military Port, Okinawa, Japan. The LCU-2035 will require Port Reduction Gear Inspections and Repairs, with a performance period of 14 calendar days. This is an urgent requirement and the Government would like performance to begin NLT 4 June 2014. If the start date is not feasible the Offeror shall provide their available start date. Please see the attached RFQ.
