- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT in support of market research being conducted to identify capable potential sources and potential subcontracting opportunities within the Small Business Socio-economic program set-asides. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified small businesses under the size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. An organization that is not considered a small business under the applicable NAICS code should not submit a response to this notice. This Small Business Sources Sought notice is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Government. The NAICS code for the project is 238210. The small business size standard is $14.0 million. The Northwestern Region, Portland District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is issuing this sources sought synopsis for the intent of the installation of new Government-furnished digital governor equipment indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract. The purpose of this contract is to establish a Multiple Award 5-year IDIQ for the retrofit up to 49 existing governors for hydroelectric units at 11 powerhouses in the Northwestern Region, which includes the Portland, Seattle, and Walla Walla Districts. The Government's objective is to award an IDIQ MATOC with up to three awards resulting from this solicitation. ****See Attachment**** All capability statements sent in response to this Small Business Sources Sought notice must be submitted electronically (via email) subject title: W9127N-15-R-0001 Digital Governors MATOC to Michael Grasso, Contract Specialist, at michael.i.grasso@usace.army.mil in either Microsoft Word or Adobe Portable Document Format by 4:00 pm Pacific Standard Time Thursday, 19 June 2014.
