Description

Items List Draft SOW The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of the Director(OD), Office of Logistics and Acquisition Operations(OLAO), in support of the NIH Supply Center (NIHSC) are issuing a Request for Information (RFI) on a potential test/pilot program they are considering conducting for supply replenishment. At this time, NIH/OLAO is requesting feedback on the attached Statement of Work, and the products in the attached spreadsheet. NIH/OLAO is interested in questions/feedback/comments on the SOW, as well as information about delivery lead times, and whether substitute items are available that are also carried. Additionally, and future solicitation would have DELIVERY CHARGES INCLUDED in the prices of the items. Delivery would be primarily to Gaithersburg, Maryland or Bethesda Maryland. The government ultimately wants to know if there are vendors that are out there, particularly small business vendors, capable of providing the listed items, and what questions/comments they may have on the SOW. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) AS WELL AS A SMALL BUSINESS SOURCES SOUGHT. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes; it does not constitute a Request for Proposal. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. Further, NIH/OLAO is not seeking proposals through this RFI and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future procurement, if conducted. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. Please note that NIH/OLAO will not respond to questions about the policy issues raised in this RFI. NIH/OLAO may or may not choose to contact individual responders. Such communications would only serve to clarify written responses further. The information provided in the RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. This RFI should not be construed as a commitment or authorization to incur cost for which reimbursement would be required or sought. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned.
