Description

This solicitation has been amended to address the following vendor questions/concerns. VA247-14-Q-0703 - GROUNDS MAINTENANCE VENDOR QUESTIONS CONCERNS 1. On the document attached in FedBizOpps the solicitation is set aside for small business but under FedBizOpps the requirement is set aside for Disabled Veteran Owned. Which set aside is this solicitation for? At this time, this action is set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business ONLY. 2. Under the scope of work, page 7 reads as if mowing is the only requirement. Do you just want mowing? Or do you want complete grounds maintenance to include mowing, edging, weed trimming, spraying for weeds and hedge trimming? Mowing Only 3. Are you requiring weekly service all year or do you just need to be sure that the improved areas are kept at a level of 3-5 inches all year round? Weekly mowing of improved areas through 9/30/2014 to maintain a height of 3-5 inches. 4. On the price sheet, I noticed that the unit is JOB with QTY only at 1. Should the unit be Month with QTY 12 or maybe Unit JOB with QTY 12? Weekly mowing of improved areas through 9/30/2014 to maintain a height of 3-5 inches. This will include the required weekly cutting of improved grounds from June 1, 2014 through September 30, 2014. The vendor's price should also reflect the semi improved cutting 2x a month also.
