- Sole Source / Brand-Name Justification Product Specification Solicitation This is a commercial Single Source Brand Name Only solicitation notice prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.6 and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and under the authority of FAR 13.103-6(b)(1)(i) and 5.102(a)(6). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516. The small business size standard is 500. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order for the acquisition of Oxford X-Met7500 based on the supplier Atlas Inspection Technologies (30EX6) authorized per the manufacturer being the only one responsible source as authorized under Sole Source Justification (SSJ) Letter referencing "_Alloy LE Handheld Energy Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence Analyzer " (see attached SSJ) Inspection/Acceptance: F.O.B Destination. Price will include all freight and handling charges delivered to Hill AFB, UT 84056.Discount Payment Terms: Net 30 Days Warranty Type: Standard Commercial Required Delivery : 30 ARO INTERESTED OFFERORS MAY IDENTIFY THEIR INTEREST AND CAPABILITY TO RESPOND TO THE REQUIREMENT OR SUBMIT QUOTES. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. HOWEVER, ALL PROPOSALS RECEIVED PRIOR TO THE CLOSING DATE ON THE SOLICITATION WILL BE CONSIDERED BY THE GOVERNMENT. A DETEMINATION BY THE GOVERNMENT NOT TO COMPETE THIS PROPOSED CONTRACT BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE IS SOLEY WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT. INFORMATION RECEIVED WILL NORMALLY BE CONSIDERED SOLEY FOR THE PURPOSE OF DETERMINING WHETHER TO CONDUCT A COMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT. If determined competitive, a technical evaluation for this item will be based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Technical will be based on meeting the product specifications attached with the solicitation. Please refer to the solicitation and requirements attachment for more detailed information. Contractors are advised to follow the instructions in 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors and 52.212-2 Evaluation of Offers in the attached solicitation. The Government intends to select one contractor; however, the Government reserves the right to award no contract at all, depending on the quality of the proposals/quotes, prices submitted, and the availability of funds. All current and/or future information about this acquisition, i.e. amendments, purchase specification, Questions and Answers (Q&A's), etc., will be distributed through FBO, therefore, interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most-up-to-date information about this solicitation.
