- FT Meade Fences: BLM's has a requirement to reconstruct four 4-wire fences (bottom smooth wire). This requirement is to furnish labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to construct the fences. Please see specifications for all requirements. Work under this contract is located in Meade County, South Dakota. The period of performance is 91 days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Work will start on/about June 16, 2014. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $150,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 238990. This is a total set aside for Small Business Concerns. The small business size standard is $14.0 million. A 100% payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $30,000. Payment protection will be due upon notification of our intent to make award. Payment protection can be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. Prospective contractors must be registered System Award Management (SAM) prior to award. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on SAM can be found online at www.sam.gov. Any questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing at lease three (3) business days prior to the closing date.
