- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE / REQUEST FOR INFORMATION 1. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT. NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (NAICS) OF 221320 WITH A SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD OF $19 MILLION IS TO BE USED FOR MARKET ANALYSIS ONLY TO DETERMINE THE AVAILABILITY OF POTENTIAL SMALL BUSINESS CATEGORIES FOR POTENTIAL SET-ASIDES FOR A FIVE YEAR EFFORT. NO AWARDS WILL BE MADE FROM THIS SOURCES SOUGHT. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME; THEREFORE, DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION. ALL RESPONSES WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE THE APPROPRIATE ACQUISITION STRATEGY FOR THE FUTURE ACQUISITION. 2. Cannon AFB, New Mexico, is conducting market research to identify potential small business sources including 8(a), veteran-owned small business (VOSB), service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB), HUBZone small business, small disadvantage business (SDB), and women-owned small business (WOSB) concerns with the capacity and technical capability necessary to successfully perform the operation, maintenance, and repair of a 1.5 MGD Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) Wastewater Treatment Plant in accordance with pertinent directives, to support operations on Cannon AFB, New Mexico. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation, and other items and services necessary for the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and support systems of all facilities at the plant. The plant operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Work shall include treatment of wastewater, corrective and preventive maintenance, minor maintenance and repair, operation of treatment facilities, reports preparation, grit and grease collection system, sludge and grit treatment and disposal, effluent irrigation system repair, whole effluent testing (WET), and other related services. Operations include general operation of plant equipment, valves and piping, sampling and lab analysis, waste and effluent disposal and other related services. All operations comply with all regulatory requirements. The standards to be met are: (1) compliance with Cannon's National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit issued by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and (2) compliance with New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) Policy for the Above Ground Use of Reclaimed Domestic Wastewater. Responsible for providing reclaimed water to the Playa Lake and the Golf Course. 3.
