- The U. S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Office of Entrepreneurship Education, intends to procure, on a sole source basis, entrepreneurial educational services, including previously developed curriculum, and classroom and online training, for entrepreneurs in underserved communities throughout the fifty United States. The SBA intends to negotiate this contract with Interise, Inc. (Duns no. 789831117), 1 Milk St., 2nd Floor, Boston, MA 02109-5413. Interise, Inc. is considered the one responsible source because it has over a decade of experience in providing these specific training services in support of the SBA mission, because of its trade-marked and copyrighted educational material, and because of its resources and staff experienced in providing these services nationally and to underserved communities. The contract will be for a base year and four option years with an estimated total value of $5.5 Million. The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all bids, proposals, or quotations received by the closing response date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The NAICS classification is 611430, Professional and Management Development Training, with a size standard of $7M. Any questions regarding this notice shall be submitted in writing to Cheryl T.
