Description: THIS AMENDMENT MAKES CHANGES TO SECTION M - EVALUATION FACTORS FOR AWARD. UNDER CONTRACTOR EXPERIENCE AND KEY PERSONNEL EXPERIENCE, ITEM 2, "AND WEATHER SYSTEMS" WAS REMOVED FROM THE VERBIAGE. IT NOW READS: TWO (2) PROJECTS WITH FAA OR MILITARY INSTRUMENT LANDING AT AN OPERATIONAL AIRPORT OR MILITARY BASE IN THE LAST THREE (3) YEARS. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED REVISED RFO AND SF-30 AMENDMENT FORM 0001 FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. OFFEROR MUST SIGN A COPY OF SF-30 AMENDMENT FORM AND SUBMIT WITH OFFER. SUBMISSION DATE REMAINS THE SAME. _______________________________________________________________ The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Northwest Mountain Region, is seeking qualified contractors to install/relocate a runway Glide Slope (GS) facility and relocate existing weather equipment at the Lanai Airport in Lanai, Hawaii. This is a Small Business Set Aside. Small businesses competing for this project must certify their status on the Business Declaration form inserted following Part IV, Section K. The applicable NAICS code for this project is 237130 “ Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction with a size standard of $33.5 million. Estimated cost is between $100,000 and $500,000. The dimensions, measurements, and quantity of materials listed in the specifications and on the construction drawings are estimated and presented to give the contractor an idea of the total scope of work. Please see Section C - Scope of Work, drawings, and specifications, for additional requirements. All work shall be completed within 40 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed (NTP). NTP is expected to be issued within 3 weeks after the notice of contract award, or as arranged by the FAA Project Engineer. Contractors proposing this project and desiring an interpretation or clarification of the specifications, drawings, contract terms and conditions, etc., must make their request by email to Cindi Tjelde at cindi.tjelde@faa.gov.
