THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE REPRESENTING A MARKET SURVEY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS OR INVITATION FOR BIDS. The Department of Veterans Affairs (NCO 08), Tampa FL. is conducting a MARKET RESEARCH to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB),small business sources; HUB Zone 8(a), Women-Owned, or small disadvantaged business concerns; and their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 518210 (Data Processing, Hosting, and Related Services). An organization that is not considered a small business under the applicable NAICS code should not submit a response to this notice. This "Sources Sought Notice" is to determine sources for EBSCO Discovery Service listed below brand name only. The responses to this announcement will assist in determining the socio-economic set aside if feasible. The Veterans Administration is required by Public Law 109-461 to provide first priority to SDVOSB and then VOSB concerns if sufficient firms available to compete under a set aside SDVOSB, the solicitation will be set aside to SDVOSB. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Interested parties submitting a response to this inquiry must include the following information: name and address of company; business size (large or small) identifies applicable socioeconomic categories and any pertinent information, which demonstrates firm's ability to meet the requirement.
