- Draft Statement of Work to repair an S-125 Genie Lift. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. This is for a market survey only; therefore, no requirement exists so do not request a copy of the solicitation. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis and no contract shall be awarded from this synopsis. The U.S. Air Force, Seymour Johnson AFB, NC has been tasked to identify sources and market conditions for the repair and inspection on Genie aerial lifts. The proposed project will be a Firm-Fixed Priced contract. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of members of the Small Business Community, to include Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to compete for a Firm-Fixed Price contract for maintenance of a Genie lift. The following information is provided: 1. Draft Statement of Work. The following information is being requested: 1. How will the prospective Contractor guarantee that personnel repairing and inspecting the Genie lift are qualified to perform these tasks? 2. What additional information would need to be provided in the request for quote to allow for the submission of an accurate price proposal? 3. Any other questions, comments or concerns? All responses received will be reviewed for informational purposes. The type of solicitation to be issued will depend upon the responses to this sources sought synopsis. The Government must determine and ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsive contractors.
