It has been determined that responses to this acquisition will be: Unrestricted - Open to both large and Small Businesses under the NAICS code 237310. The USACE Seattle District has a requirement for the improvements of Runway 12/30 and Taxiway Alpha at the Mountain Home Air Force Base, ID. The work performed will be conducted due to deteriorating pavement conditions identified in the airfield pavement evaluation. The project consists of repairs to Runway 12/30, Taxiway A and its connector taxiways within the visual flight rules hold lines. Repairs will include milling and overlay of the asphalt runway pavements. Rigid pavement repairs will vary by minor spall and joint seal repair to full removal and replacement. The construction costs of this project will be subject to the disclosure of the magnitude of construction project, Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) 236.204, between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000. The completion period is not to exceed 450 calendar days after NTP, phasing of work will be required under this project. The NAICS code for this project is 237310 with a small business size standard of $33.5M. The solicitation will be a Design-Bid-Build [DBB] competitive RFP in accordance with procedures outlined Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15 and will include non-price and price evaluation factors. A firm-fixed price contract will be negotiated as a result of the solicitation. This Design-Bid-Build RFP project is: Unrestricted - Open to both Large and Small Businesses.
