Description

contract extension list of items The purpose of this synopsis is to advise industry that the current Woodward sole source contract, SPM4AX09D9409, will be extended for an additional six months. The new contract expiration date will be Feb 1, 2015. This is a fixed price, indefinite quantity contract and includes the NSNs listed in the attached spreadsheet. This contract provides consumables and DLRs spare parts for DLA, Army, Navy and Air Force aviation supply chains in support of multiple weapons system platforms. These items provide stock coverage for customers overseas and within the United States. The government will places orders under this contract for DLA direct support on a freight on board basis. All items are designated sole source to Woodward. Firms that can produce the items listed in the attached spreadsheet are encouraged to identify themselves. Any alternate source must submit the appropriate data and receive approval by the cognizant government engineering support activity. The government may add or remove items as necessary should they become competitive IAW DLA Directive 52.216-9006 Addition/Deletion of items. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for information must be processed through their respective embassies.
