Description

The Department Of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office, NCO 15, intends to release a commercial solicitation, set-aside 100% for small business, to obtain Preventive Maintenance and Repair Service for Hill-Rom Beds at the Kansas City VA Medical Center. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 811219 and the Business Size Standard is $19 million. This requirement is being issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) VA255-14-Q-1091. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract for a period of one (1) year, with option to renew four (4) additional one year periods. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the System for Award Management (www.SAM.gov) database prior to award of a contract. All solicitation details, to include full specifications will be included in the RFQ, which will be released on or about May 13, 2014. Any contractor who wishes to receive a copy of the RFQ should monitor this posting. Due date for submission of quotes will be on or about May 19, 2014.
