- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE AG-02RC-S-14-0049 Red River, Palouse, North Fork, Lochsa Ranger Districts Nez Perce/Clearwater National Forests Idaho/ Montana Acquisition Team 2014 PRECOMMERCIAL THINNING Work consists of precommercial tree thinning, and stand(s) improvement activities to reduce the tree density, and by deliberate selection of leave trees, improve the overall health and condition of the stand(s) based on prescribed objectives. Tree selection and cutting of undesirable or excess trees will provide space for the leave trees to grow and develop, reduce the incidence of insect and diseases that affect growth, and undesirable tree qualities. Anticipated Solicitation Issuance Date will be late May, 2014. Estimated Award and Start Work Date is July, 2014.
