Description

The John D. Dingell Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, MI, 48201 intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Boston Scientific, 1 Boston Scientific PL, Natick, MA 01760 a consignment agreement to purchase biliary stents. These stents are utilized during the performance of diagnostic Radiology procedures. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses received, will be made entirely at the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Please submit information to Robert Kay, Contract Specialist, VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, robert.kay@va.gov. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. All responses must be received no later than Friday, May 13, 2014at 2:00 pm EST. Telephone responses will not be accepted.
