- Description
- This competitive 8(a) solicitation and resultant contract is set aside for a Small Business concern located in the State of New York. Scope of Work involves Facility Support Services for approximately 24 Marine Reserve buildings located in the Syracuse NY, Red Bank NJ, Newburgh NY and Brooklyn NY areas. Specific Facility Services include Custodial, Pest Control, Refuse Management, Grounds Maintenance, Snow Removal and Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) sustainment. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to provide the services by means of a combination firm-fixed price (FFP) and indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract. This requirement is for a performance based contract with an anticipated period of performance of a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods, for a total not to exceed 60 months. The FFP base year requirement will be the overall minimum guarantee. The primary NAICS Code for this procurement is 561210 and the annual small business size standard is $35.5M dollars. No proposals are being solicited at this time. Complete solicitation documentation will be issued on or about 5/15/2014, with proposals due 30 days thereafter. Anticipated Work Start Date is 7/1/2014.
