- Solicitation: W81XWH14T0199 Scrub Jackets and Pants Amendment 0002 CS: Wanda King 1. Since Landau was listed as the manufacturer - all their style #s available for each CLIN - or at least each scrub style? Answer: Landau is a brand name and equal to be accepted; the brand name or equal pertains to the colors and fabric of the material. 2. If these are not all Landau scrubs - are they COTS items? Are there acceptable manufacturer and style #s available? We ask because of the specs call for features not common in the industry: Answer: The manufacturer can make with pockets and snaps, and when the order is placed for without snaps and pockets the manufacturer will omit the pockets and snaps. See the MECS for type A and type B. The brand name or equal pertains to the colors and fabric of the material. There are not associated Landau item numbers are the required items are semi-custom. 3. Do the transportation costs apply as part of the cost of goods for purpose of qualification as quote mark domestic product? Answer: Shipping according to the solicitation is FOB Destination. Shipping will be included in the cost of the required items. 4. How soon can get past contract bid tabulation from a request date and who do I submit the request to? Answer: If a past performance is required, we are able to pull up the past performance data. None is required, and if you wish to submit a past performance it should be included with your quote. 5. What is the delivery date from award date? Answer: ARO/30 days. 6. Is there a standard on the autoclave sterilization and is a spec sheet available? Answer: The information provided in the MECS of the sterilization is given. The required scrubs must be able to withstand repeated autoclave sterilization for decontamination at temperatures ranging from 250-270 degrees Fahrenheit 7. What is the exact fabric weight in ounces? Answer: 5 ounces per square yard fabric weight is required for all items. 8. Do I need to submit swatches with the required specification along with the bid proposal on May 16, 2015, or can I submit my 8 current standard swatches with the bid and submit the bid specification swatches at a later time. Answer: According to the solicitation, the swatches are due on 16 May 2014, and to be mailed to the following: USAMRIID Attn: Wanda King 1425 Porter Street Fort Detrick, MD 21702 The 8 required fabric swatches are to be used for color and fabric type verification. The fabric samples do not have to be full items, but rather a piece of the cloth that the item will come in. An ideal size would be able to fit into a mailing envelope. The purpose of this amendment is as follows: 1. To update the Maximum quantities for the following CLINs: 2, 5, 6, 10, 13, 16, 19, 20, 24, 27, 30, 34, 38, 41, and all their respective Option Year CLINs. 2. To update section quote mark IDIQ Information quote mark to state the proposed minimum quantities for each CLIN. 3. To remove section quote mark IDIQ Constraints quote mark. 4.
