- Description
- The Nebraska National Forest intends to issue a Request For Quotations (RFQ) to award a single, firm fixed price contract. The project includes installing gabions, riprap, geotechnical material, and a wood diversion structure. Slope Excavation includes excavating an area to create a slope to install a geotextile materials and riprap. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and other incidentals to successfully complete the project. Solicitation AG-67T0-S-14-0038, and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps and available for downloading on or about May 27, 2014 at the website address http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. This solicitation is a small business set-aside under NAICS code 237310. The SBA size standard is $33.5 million. A Pre-Proposal visit date will be included in the solicitation. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: Between $25,000 and $50,000. PROJECT LOCATIONS: Roller Dam, travel approx. 10 miles west of Ardmore, SD, on County Road 5, then south across BGNG pasture. Roller Dam, travel approx. 6 miles north on County Road 7, then east 3/4 mile on County Road 7B to Crowe Dam. Offerors submitting a Request For Quotation are required by the FAR to use the System for Acquisition Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov). SAM is a web-based system that centralizes and standardizes the collection, storage, and viewing of many of the FAR required representations and certifications previously found in Solicitations. With SAM, vendors now have the ability to enter and maintain their representation and certification information. Vendors will need to review and/or update the SAM record when changes are necessary; annually to maintain an active status.
