- Synopsis Notice for: FA8571-14-R-0007 This requirement is for non-commercial items. The contractor shall provide the following item: 0001 - HVI-IQDC Pilot Side Cable Manufactured by: Teledyne Reynolds, Inc. Part number: 300014-1 Quantity: 100 each Provide technical data. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. The resulting contract will be Firm Fixed Price. This announce constitutes the synopsis only; a proposal is requested and a written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) FA8571-14-R-0007. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are that in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-73, effective 29 Apr 2014, NAICS is 334511 and small business size is 750 employees. Place of performance/FOB Robins AFB Georgia. The approximate RFP issue date will be 09 May 2014. Proposal is due 16 May 2014. This requirement is sole source Teledyne Reynolds, Inc., Cage Code 99747 in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Or A Limited Number of Responsible Sources, And No Other Supplies Or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government that this requirement will not be competed based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Foreign participation is not permitted. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified below for additional information and or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition.
