Description

The VA Western New York Healthcare System (VAWNYHS), 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, New York intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Nurse Call Upgrades - Dental Department. Work includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, supervision, etc. to replace and program a Rauland emergency service nurse call system in the Dental Department. The new nurse call system must be the brand name Rauland (Responder V Series) and have the ability to interface and communicate with the existing Rauland software and control system at the VAWNYHS. A justification for the brand name will be included in the solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238210 with a size standard of $14.0 Million. The construction estimate for this project is between $25,000. and $100,000. This procurement is set-aside for a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Award will be made on a competitive basis to the responsive, responsible Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business responding to this solicitation in accordance with the solicitation materials. OBTAINING SOLICITATION MATERIAL: Solicitation materials consisting of provisions, clauses, specification, drawings, etc. will be available on http://www.fedbizopps.gov in electronic format only. These should be available on or about May 30, 2014. All interested parties (subs & primes) should register at http://www.fedbizopps.gov as an 'Interested Vendor' so that others will know of your interest in participating in this procurement. A bidder's mailing list, list of interested parties WILL NOT be prepared nor distributed by the Contract Specialist. SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS: Amendments to the solicitation will be posted at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Those who submit quotations are reminded that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation.
