- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using the simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 intends to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis to M David Vaughn Attorney, 13732 Lakeside Drive, Clarksville, MD, 30185-4200. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit only one source. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. DURATION: All quotations received within 7 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. For specific questions, please contact, Vivian Daniels, Contract Specialist, Email vivian.daniels@irs.gov. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement not later than 12:00 pm May 16, 2014 (EST).
