- The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity proposes to award to Colorado State University 601 Howes St, Fort Collins, CO 80521-2807, on a sole source basis, for limit pathogen detection and next generation sequencing. Competing this requirement and awarding to any other source would result in substantial delays and disruption of projects already in progress and would also increase the overall cost to the Government. This procurement shall be under other than full and open competition procedures in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. NAICS code for this requirement is 541712. This will be an unrestricted procurement. Any response to this notice must be submitted in writing to the Government and show clear and convincing evidence that another source is capable of meeting the Government's requirements and that competition of the requirement would be advantageous to the Government. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. If no written responses are received at least fifteen (15) days after the publication of this announcement, the purchase will be awarded without further notice.
