Description

Solicitation Package The Contractor shall provide all the labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required to deliver riprap to the Cathedral Rock Picnic Area, located in the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. Travel to the site, take US 95 northbound past the city limits. Turn westbound onto State Route 157 (Kyle Canyon Road), and proceed approximately 18 miles westbound on this road. The Cathedral Rock Picnic Area will be located on the right side of the road, near the end of State Route 157. Turn right into the Cathedral Rock/South Loop Trailhead parking lot (entrance is just before the Mount Charleston Lodge); proceed through parking lot and pass a metal gate. Passing the metal gate, you have entered into the Cathedral Rock Picnic Area; proceed for another ¼ mile to the delivery point, where Forest Service personnel will direct deliveries. Deliveries points are in tight locations, and backing up with long end dumps and tractors will be difficult. Approximately 2500 tons with an option of another 2500 tons. Period of Performance May 14, 2014 (estimated start date)-September 19, 2014.
