- Description
- The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Office of Acquisition and Relocation Management (FA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Digital Receiver Technology for a software defined wideband Digital Signal Processor, Radio Frequency Tuner and Compact PCI Wireless Processor Module. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Digital Receiver Technology under the commercial test program described in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 13.5, and under authority 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition. The following FAR Part 12.3 provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition52.212-1 (APR 2014) Instruction Offeors-Commercial Item, 52.212-4 (SEPT 2013) Contract Terms and Terms and Conditions-Commercial Item, 52.212-5 (JAN 2014) Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Status or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. All, the full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov/far. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334210. The business size standard is 1,000 employees. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), vendors that feel they can meet the Government's requirements detailed above may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. A determine by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In accordance with FAR 6.305(a) the justification will be made publicly available within 14 days after award. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. Closing date is May 8, 2014.
