- This is not a request for quotes or proposals; the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8-San Juan, Puerto Rico is currently conducting a market survey for potential small business qualified firms capable of completing the necessary labor, materials, supervision, protective clothing, inspections, equipment and reports necessary to perform inside and outside windows and glass surfaces cleaning services for the five story( Basement and Penthouse included) Administrative Building in the VA Caribbean Healthcare System, located at 10 Calle Casia, San Juan, Puerto Rico 00921-3201. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561720. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources for this procurement relative to NAICS 561720. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this notice shall include company/individual name, a service capability statement, examples of similar facilities which you have provided services to (a capabilities statement), DUNS number, address, point of contact. Contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (see internet site: https://www.sam.gov). A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on the Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Specific areas to be addressed in capability packages submitted by respondents are as follows: (1)Expertise in performing cleaning of horizontal, vertical and slopped glass windows, windows frames, side panels, doors of full length or with panes, glass panels in railings, skylight. (2) Expertise in performing cleaning of windows and glass surfaces using scaffold/platform, rappelling or boatswain's chair. (3) Contractor equipment shall conform to all Federal, State, and Local Safety requirements. It is anticipated that the contract will be a Firm Fixed Price with a Base Period and Four Optional Periods of 12 months each. ANY INTERESTED SMALL BUSINESS should submit a capability statement that demonstrates the firm's ability to perform the key requirements described above. Standard company brochures will not be considered sufficient response to this Source Sought. In the capabilities statements, contractors should provide their size status for the above references NAICS code. (i.e. small, large) and whether or not they are certified SDVOSB, VOSB, Hub zone, 8(a), women-owned concern.
