- AMENDMENT NOTICE:This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is N6110814RC001FN and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-73. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 321992 with a small business size standard of 500.00 employees.This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit quotes.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2014-05-09 15:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be in the Special Shipping Instructions. The FLC - Norfolk requires the following items, Meet or Exceed, to the following: LI 001: Two (2) 40' temperature controlled conex boxes will be utilized for the rehabilitation of firefighters to rest and be medically evaluated. SOW: Dimensions: Each container shall conform to the following: 1. External dimensions: 40' long x 8' wide and 8' 6" high. 2. ISO standard "One Trip" type shipping container. Construction: Rest & Rehab Container 1. Walls will be finished and include insulation. 2. Rest & Rehab containers shall contain personal side entrance with heavy duty insulated door. 3. Rest & Rehab containers exterior shall be painted white. 4. Rest & Rehab containers shall include convenience receptacle. 5. Rest & Rehab containers shall each include two (2) entry size walk in doors, two (2) 36" x 36" windows with bars. Storage container shall have one (1) walk in door. 6. Rest & Rehab containers exterior shall be painted white. 7. Rest & Rehab containers shall include convenience receptacle. Electrical: 1. Rest & Rehab containers will have 50-60 Hz 100 AMP single phase panel. 220V (Foreign (BAHRAIN capable) Power Source) 2. Rest & Rehab containers shall include three (3) 4' overhead fluorescent lighting fixtures with switch. 3. Rest & Rehab containers shall include one (1) duplex outlet next to light switch. HVAC 1. Rest & Rehab containers shall each have a 50 Hz Bard 2 ton HVAC unit. 220V Other 1. Delivery items required within 60 days of contract award 2. Please submit drawings to be used with your technical evaluation, 2, EA; LI 002: One (1) conex box will be used for storage. SOW: Dimensions: Storage container shall conform to the following: 1. Storage container shall have one (1) walk in door. 6. Storage container shall include 72" H x 77" W x 24" D 3-Tier Steel Shelving. 7. Storage container shall include 1" foil backed Styrofoam installation. Electrical: 1. Storage container will have 50-60 Hz 100 AMP single phase panel. 220V (Foreign (BAHRAIN capable) Power Source) 2. Storage container shall include three (3) 4' overhead fluorescent lighting fixtures with switch. 3. Storage container shall include one (1) duplex outlet next to light switch. HVAC 1. Storage container shall have a 50 Hz Bard 2 ton HVAC unit. 220V Other 1. Storage container shall have shelving units as determined i.e: Storage container shall include 72" H x 77" W x 24" D 3-Tier Steel Shelving. 2.
