J&A - W911S214B3001 This is a notice of the Governments intent to solicit to a Sole Source. The proposed contract action is for services which the Government intends to solicit or negotiate with only one source. less than br greater than less than br greater than The Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Fort Drum, NY 13602 intends to award a Sole Source Contract to the Jefferson County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA)to provide all resources necessary to shall shelter, feed, and care for all stray animals delivered by Fort Drum, NY. less than br greater than less than br greater than Mandatory Qualifications: less than br greater than This requirement is restrictive to local Contractors in the communities where Fort Drum Soldiers live, due to the requirement that the Contractor shall be able to properly care for the animals while being able to advertise the recovered animals and return a lost pet to an owner within the Fort Drum community. The designated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 812910, Animal Shelters; and Product Service Code(PSC) R416, Veterinary and Animal Care Services. The anticipated contract type is a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) Requirements contract with an anticipated duration of a Twelve-Month Base Period, with Four Twelve-Month Option Periods. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all proposals received within 15 calendar days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Fort Drum is not seeking or requesting unsolicited proposals and will not accept telephone or fax inquiries. No solicitation exists and vendors should not request a copy of a solicitation.
